Component of sentence 文の構成要素

　Japanese sentences can be decomposed as follows.
　日本語の文は以下のように分解することができる。

　A sentence is a combination of phrases.
　文は文節を組み合わせたもの。

　A phrase is a combination of words. It is classified into words.
　文節は単語を組み合わせたもの。語に分類される。

　A word is the smallest unit that constitutes a sentence. It is classified into part of speech.
　単語は文を構成する最小単位です。品詞に分類される。

　　文 = sentence　文節 = phrase　単語 = word

　　　文 : 今日は暑いです。
　　文節 : 今日は // 暑いです。
　　単語 : 今日 / は / 暑い / です。

　　　文 : 明日は雨です。
　　文節 : 明日は // 雨です。
　　単語 : 明日 / は / 雨 / です。

　　　文 : 私の故郷はアメリカです。
　　文節 : 私の // 故郷は // アメリカです。
　　単語 : 私 / の / 故郷 / は / アメリカ / です。
