I. 比較

比較級

　　動作を受ける人や物を主語にして、「～が…される」という意味を表す。
　　S(主語) + V(動詞) + 比較級 + than + 比較対象.
　　「Sは比較対象より～です。」という意味を表す。

　　形容詞の比較級 :
　　形容詞の語尾に"er"を付ける、
　　音節の長い形容詞の前に"more"を置くことで比較級となる。

　　副詞の比較級 :
　　副詞の前に"more"を置くことで比較級となる。
　　一部の副詞 fast early hard late longなどは語尾に"er"を付ける。

　　faster
　　This Ferrari is faster than the tractor.
　　「このフェラーリはそのトラクターより速い。」
　　The hare runs faster than the tortoise.
　　「その野うさぎはそのカメより速く走る。」

　　slower
　　This tractor is slower than the Ferrari.
　　「このトラクターはそのフェラーリより遅い。」

　　higher
　　Mt.Fuji is higher than Mt.Takao.
　　「富士山は高尾さんより高い。」

　　lower
　　Mt.Takao is lower than Mt.Fuji.
　　「高尾山は富士山より低い。」

　　more beautiful
　　You are more beautiful than a rose.
　　「あなたはバラより美しい。」

　　more useful
　　This map is more useful than a smart-phone.
　　「この地図はスマートフォンより役に立つ。」

　　more famous
　　He is more famous than you.
　　「彼はあなたより有名です。」

　　more difficult
　　This question is more difficult the others.
　　「この問題は他の問題よりも難しい。」

　　more slowly
　　The tortoise walks more slowly than hare.
　　「そのカメは野うさぎよりゆっくり歩く。」

　　harder
　　He studied harder than before.
　　「彼は以前より一生懸命に勉強した。」
